About the Pile Rumpless Game
Pile (pyle) is the black-red pattern with the black replaced by white: the cock keeps a bright orange-red hackle, back and saddle but over a white breast, body and tail, while the hen is creamy-white with a salmon breast. It rides the breed's hard-feathered, gamey frame, which lacks the tailbone entirely for the rounded, tailless rear. A recognised colour of this rare British exhibition bantam, descended from Old English Game and laying a few tinted eggs.
