About the White Scots Dumpy
The White Scots Dumpy is pure white throughout, free of any cream tinge or stray black feathers, with white beak, legs and feet and red eyes. One of the three standardised large-fowl colours recognised by the breed club, it is rarer than the original black and cuckoo but well established, shown on the breed's distinctive low, short-legged 'creeper' frame as a placid dual-purpose fowl laying cream-tinted eggs.
