About the Buff Serama

Buff Seramas carry rich, even golden-buff plumage, shown in practice as the "Black-Tailed Buff" pattern — warm buff body feathering set off by a contrasting black tail (and often black flecking in the wing). It is one of the colours the Serama Council of North America tracks, though it is not among the top-tier ABA-accepted varieties (white, black, exchequer, blue, splash, ginger red), so buff birds remain comparatively scarce. As with all Seramas it pairs this colour with the breed's upright, chest-out toy-soldier stance and tiny size.
