About the Frizzled White Serama

Frizzling turns every feather to curl outward and forward, giving this white bird a windblown, ruffled look on top of the Serama's already eye-catching upright carriage. Frizzle is a mutation introduced into Seramas in America and parts of Europe; responsible breeders pair a frizzle with a smooth-feathered bird, because two copies of the gene produce 'frazzles' with weak, brittle feathering and health problems. The white ground keeps the focus on the curled plumage — a purely ornamental tiny pet.
