About the Red Serama
Rich self-red plumage, recognised in the American Serama standard as Ginger Red (added January 2023). The warm even red colour suits the breed's confident vertical posture and is one of the colours admissible for in-cage APA/ABA showing. As with every Serama it is a tiny ornamental pet — the smallest chicken in the world — prized for character rather than production, laying only tiny cream eggs.
