About the Wheaten Serama
Named for ripe wheat, the Wheaten Serama shows the classic sex-dimorphic wheaten pattern: hens a soft pale tan to cream with a darker neck and tail, cockerels far darker with a black breast and bright reddish-orange hackles and saddle. It is the most recently accepted American colour (added 2024). On this 25cm ornamental pet the gentle wheaten tones complement its upright, fearless stance and tiny cream eggs.
