About the Spangled Shamo

Spangled Shamo carry a ground colour broken by white tips at the end of the feathers, giving a flecked or mottled finish that is highly sought after for showing. The pattern is visible despite the breed's exceedingly short, hard feathering and shows well against the towering, upright build. It falls outside the core APA-recognised varieties but is a popular fancy colour within the breed.
