About the Buff Silkie
Buff Silkies are an even, warm golden-tan to ginger throughout, prized for solid uniformity of shade across the fur-like plumage with no harsh markings, though some darker feathering can appear in the tail. Buff is an APA-recognised standard colour (closely related to the gold the PCGB lists) on the usual dark-skinned, exceptionally broody ornamental Silkie.
