About the Silver Sussex

The Silver Sussex resembles the Light in its black-and-silver patterning but is darker overall, with grey thighs and a dark breast laced with silver. A PCGB-recognised colour and one of the less common Sussex, it holds the breed's dual-purpose character — a tinted-egg layer that also makes a sound table bird.
