About the Blue Laced Gold Wyandotte
A gold-laced bird in which the black lacing is replaced by soft slate-blue over a golden-bay ground — effectively the gold-cock-breeder background carried by the blue gene. Bred mainly in continental Europe and regarded as a handsome variant, it is uncommon in the UK. It keeps the rounded Wyandotte type, rose comb and large brown eggs.
