About the Buff Wyandotte
A rich, even golden-buff bird without lacing or markings, ideally a uniform shade from head to tail. It was created by crossing silver-laced stock with buff Cochin, and was APA-recognised in 1893. The warm solid colour suits the breed's deep, rounded shape; it lays large brown eggs.
