About the Splash Wyandotte
A pale bird of white or creamy-grey ground splashed with irregular slate-blue markings — the double-blue (BlBl) result of the blue genetics. Splash is one of the three outcomes from breeding blue to blue, and crossing two splash birds produces all-splash offspring, so it is prized as a breeding tool for blue lines. It carries the rounded Wyandotte type and large brown eggs.
