About the White Wyandotte
A pure self-white bird that arose as a sport (spontaneous mutation) of the silver-laced and was APA-recognised in 1888. Free of any lacing or markings, it shows off the breed's deep, rounded outline and neat rose comb to full effect, and was historically valued as a productive table and laying bird. Lays large brown eggs like all Wyandottes.
