About the Black-Red Yokohama

A black-red Yokohama in the classic game colouring: the cock with a rich orange-red hackle, back and saddle over a lustrous black breast and tail, the hen partridge-brown with a salmon breast. Black-red is one of the additional colours carried under the broader UK Yokohama standard, which is far more inclusive of colour than the German one. The long, ground-sweeping tail and flowing saddle hangers remain the hallmark, the breed being kept purely as a show ornament.
