About the Wheaten Yokohama
A spectacular German ornamental breed bred by Hugo du Roi in the 1880s from Japanese long-tailed stock, the Yokohama flows with an extravagantly long tail and trailing saddle feathers, classically white or red-saddled. Bred wholly for show, it lays a modest number of tinted eggs. A graceful living ornament for the dedicated fancier.
