About the Silver Diamond Dove
A diluted mutation that renders the body a soft, pale grey rather than the wild slate-blue, while keeping the white diamond wing spots and red eye-ring. Silver is reported as simple recessive to the normal colour in imported Australian stock, and is one of the commoner established mutations. It carries all the breed's gentle, quiet aviary temperament.
