About the Yellow Diamond Dove
Despite the name, the Yellow Diamond is a soft fawn or beige bird rather than a bright yellow, a pale warm dilution of the wild colour that retains the diamond wing spots and red eye-ring. It is one of the recognised established mutations and forms part of combination colours such as Peach (silver x yellow) and Ocher (yellow x cinnamon). A small, quiet ornamental dove throughout.
