About the Frosty Ring-necked Dove
Frosty is a delicate mutation discovered around 1988 (by Gary Harding, Kansas) and inherited as a dominant or codominant gene, giving a softly frosted, lightened appearance. It is one of the building-block codominant colours: crossed with Tangerine it produces Ash, and it underlies several other compound shades. A subtle, newer colour on the same calm, tameable aviary dove.
