About the White Aylesbury
The Aylesbury exists only in this pure-white form: snow-white plumage paired with the breed's prized pinkish-white bill and, unusually, white rather than yellow skin — traits Victorian London markets paid a premium for. A long, straight, deep keel that nearly reaches the ground marks the classic exhibition table bird. Now holds Critical conservation status, with very few breeding birds remaining.
