About the Apricot Call Duck
Apricot is a warm brown-dilute form of the mallard pattern, the wild markings softened to a pinkish apricot-buff that is especially pretty on the female. It was among the colours added to the British standard for Calls in the later 20th century and remains a popular exhibition colour in the breed's small, round-headed frame.
