About the Black Call Duck
The Black Call is a solid self-black bird whose silky feathers carry a green beetle sheen, much like the Black East Indian on which exhibition blacks are often modelled. It was admitted to the British Waterfowl Standards for Calls in 2008 and is judged on the depth of black and brilliance of the green lustre.
