About the Pied Call Duck
The Pied Call carries the mallard pattern broken up with irregular white, so coloured and white areas are intermingled rather than cleanly demarcated — distinct from the sharper, more symmetrical Magpie. Listed in the British standard as Mallard Pied, it is one of the breed's broken-marked colours.
