About the Chocolate And White Magpie Duck

Chocolate-and-white replaces the black markings with a rich, even chocolate-brown over the white body, giving the warmest-toned version of the magpie pattern. It was developed by breeders in Germany and added to Poultry Club of Great Britain recognition after the 1997 expansion, making it the rarest of the four colours. It otherwise shares the breed's active, foraging nature and good lay of white to pale-green eggs.
