About the Blue Muscovy

Blue is a single dilution of the black base, giving an even slate-grey plumage while the bill, bean and feet retain dark pigment. Birds range from dark to light slate, and a fully blue female is notably uncommon. As ducklings they show dark heads like blacks but lighter bodies. Otherwise it is the same large, characterful, tree-perching meat bird as the Black Muscovy.
