About the White Muscovy

White Muscovies carry the white-spotting (pied) gene in its homozygous form, which suppresses all coloured plumage to give a fully white bird; the red facial caruncles and pale bill remain the visual signature. White is one of the most familiar and commercially common Muscovy types, often kept as a clean-plucking table bird, and shares the breed's hardiness, quiet voice and strong broodiness.
