About the Buff African Goose

The Buff carries the same pattern as the Brown but rendered in soft fawn-to-buff tones with white edging and lacing, a creamy-buff neck marked by a red-brown stripe, and a caramel bill and knob (orange tolerated with a points deduction; all-orange disqualifies). The most recently standardised African, admitted to the APA Standard of Perfection in 2018. Same imposing heavyweight meat bird, with the characteristic forehead knob and dewlap.
