About the White African Goose

The White African shows pure white plumage that throws the bird's features into sharp relief: a bright orange bill and knob, and bright orange shanks and feet, with no dark stripe or pied markings. It was admitted to the APA Standard of Perfection in 1987, later than the Brown but before the Buff. The same stately heavyweight reared chiefly for meat, distinguished by its prominent forehead knob and pendulous dewlap.
