About the White Czech Goose
Pure white throughout, the Czech goose carries an orange-red bill with a pale bean and matching orange-red legs — white is its only recognised colour. A compact light breed (ganders around 5–5.5 kg, geese 4–4.5 kg), it sits a little upright with a plump oval body and short, bulky neck, and is found both plain-headed and crested. Standardised in the UK in 2008, it is a hardy, good-natured grazer that lays roughly 10–20 large white eggs and makes an excellent mother, but remains rare outside central Europe.
