About the White Roman Goose
The plain White Roman is the classic form: a small, cobby goose that should be pure, untinted white throughout, set off by piercing pale blue eyes and an orange-pink beak and legs. Goslings may carry grey or buff feathering that usually moults out by their first year, maturing to clean white by about 21 weeks. This non-tufted bird carries all the breed's history and watchful, docile temperament as a charming ornamental and useful smallholding goose.
