About the Grey Sebastopol
Grey Sebastopols carry grey colour through the curling plumage rather than the pure white of the standard bird, and are a non-standard form not officially recognised by the APA or BWA. In the UK the grey colouring is associated with the spot gene, which when introduced produces grey-back (saddleback) birds. The frizzled, flightless feathering and gentle ornamental nature remain exactly those of the breed.
