Not a colour in itself but a marking: irregular solid-white patches over an otherwise coloured (usually pearl-grey) bird, ranging from a few white breast feathers to extensive white across breast, back and wings. Any colour variety can be pied. The patchwork is purely cosmetic, with the breed's typical hardiness and pest-control habits unchanged.
