About the Violet Helmeted Guinea Fowl

A dark, solid-coloured bird with no pearling, whose plumage throws a violet sheen in sunlight. The unmarked dark ground separates it from the semi-pearled, similarly purple-toned Royal Purple. The breed's loud, semi-wild ranging character is unchanged.
