About the Bronze Indian Peafowl
Bronze (developed by Buford Abbott of Tennessee in the 1980s, hence 'Buford Bronze') replaces the grey and blue-green with chocolate brown: purples and blues are shifted to shades of brown and gold, giving a warm metallic train. It is an autosomal recessive colour. 'Bronze' and 'Buford Bronze' name the same mutation.
