About the Cameo Indian Peafowl
The oldest peafowl colour mutation (isolated 1967 in Maine), Cameo replaces the blues and greens with warm brown: the cock is dark brown over head and train, fading toward a 'coffee-and-milk' tone on the body, and the iridescence is muted. It is sex-linked, so it always shows in the hen when present but can be carried hidden by cocks.
