About the India Blue Indian Peafowl
The wild-type, naturally occurring colour from which every other peafowl mutation descends. The cock carries the iconic iridescent blue neck and breast and the blue-green eyed train, with finely barred brown-and-buff wings; the hen is grey-brown with a glossy green neck. It is the dominant colour, so crossing any recessive colour back to India Blue yields blue offspring.
