About the Indigo Indian Peafowl
Indigo is the sister double-recessive to Hazel — also a Bronze-plus-Purple combination — but leans to the Purple side: a deep navy-blue neck, muted green saddle, coco-brown wing coverts and a muted-green train with deep-blue ocelli. It was among the first double-recessive colour expressions established in peafowl.
