About the Midnight Indian Peafowl

Midnight is a dark, sooty version of India Blue: the neck loses its bright blue and the bird takes on a deep, dusky sheen, substantially darker than Charcoal but, unlike Charcoal, it retains iridescence rather than going matte. It is an autosomal recessive colour, giving one of the moodiest, near-black looks in peafowl.
