About the Pied Indian Peafowl
A pattern rather than a colour: random white splotches break up an otherwise normally coloured bird, most often roughly 60% colour to 40% white across the body and train. The underlying colour (typically India Blue) still shows in the patches, so each pied bird is uniquely marked. Combined with the white-eye and white alleles it grades toward Silver Pied.
