About the Taupe Indian Peafowl
Taupe birds lack iridescence and are a pale, soft beige: the train's eyespots blend into the surrounding feathers in muted shades of brown, beige and cream rather than standing out. First appearing around 2005, it is one of the newer and palest autosomal recessive colours, giving a notably understated, washed-out look.
