About the White Spalding Spalding Peafowl
The White Spalding carries the leucistic white mutation over a Spalding background: a wholly white bird (the train still showing its ocelli in relief) that retains the Green peafowl's longer-legged, taller hybrid frame. It is the Spalding form of the long-established White colour, one of the named Spalding varieties recognised within the United Peafowl Association's listings. Like all Spaldings it does not breed true, with green-blood percentage carried invisibly beneath the white plumage.
