About the Blue African Owl
A Blue African Owl carries the wild-type blue-bar pattern: a slatey blue body with two clean black wing bars (the breed standard calls for the bars of Blues to be black) and a green-lustred hackle. This is the foundational pattern colour of the breed, and it shows off the African Owl's tiny downturned beak and white-frothed jabot on a small, round, dainty exhibition pigeon.
