About the Red African Owl
A self Red (ash-red based), this variety is wanted in a sound, clear, even red throughout, free of patchiness. One of the classic self colours of the African Owl, it brings warmth to the breed's button-faced head, with the tiny downturned beak and frilled jabot remaining the focal show points rather than the colour alone.
