About the Red Birmingham Roller
Red (ash-red) birds carry a warm reddish-brown plumage and are, alongside blue, one of the two most common colours seen in Birmingham Rollers. Colour is purely a matter of taste here: the breed is valued and judged for its spinning backward somersaults on the wing rather than for its appearance.
