About the White Carneau

The White Carneau is clear white throughout, with the cream beak, red eyes and bright red legs of the standard; off-colour markings are penalised. Beyond the loft it is the most famous Carneau of all — White Carneaux were the pigeons B.F. Skinner used in his foundational operant-conditioning experiments. As a colour of this large, good-natured utility breed it shares the same heavy, meaty squab-producing frame.
