About the Yellow Carneau
The Yellow Carneau shows a deep, clear golden yellow with a visible sheen, the standard faulting any cinnamon cast; like the red it carries colour into the feather shafts. It is essentially the dilute counterpart of the breed's classic recessive red and a recognised standard class, though kept less commonly than red or white. It carries the same calm temperament and heavy, table-bred squab build as the rest of the breed.
