About the Blue Dragoon
The blue is the wild-type colouring and the most traditional, highest-quality variety of the Dragoon: a leaden blue-grey body with a lustrous dark neck sheen and two black wing bars, the classic blue-bar pattern (blue chequers also occur). Blues are widely regarded as the breed's strongest exhibition colour, showing off the neat beak wattle and smart, businesslike type of this very old English fancy pigeon.
