About the Dun English Carrier
Dun is the third of the English Carrier's original colours, defined as a soft brownish-grey, and completes the historical trio with black and white. Genetically dun is the dilute of black, giving a paler, warm-toned self rather than a new pattern. The muted ground sets off the long beak, rounded beak-wattle and prominent eye ceres that define this tall, imposing 'King of the Doos' exhibition pigeon.
