About the Blue English Trumpeter

A self variety on the wild-type blue ground, typically a blue-barred bird with two black wing bars over the slate-blue body, extending to the heavy foot muffs and the rose and shell crests. Blue bar is among the breed's recognised show colours. Bred entirely for ornament, with the breed's hallmark drawn-out trumpeting call.
