About the White English Trumpeter
A pure white self variety, the entire bird — body, the vast foot muffs and the rose and shell crests — carried in clean, unmarked white. The all-white ground throws the breed's extravagant crest and muff feathering into relief, making it a popular and striking show colour. Bred solely for ornament and named for its distinctive trumpeting coo.
