About the Yellow English Trumpeter
A self variety in soft, even yellow — the dilute counterpart of red — carried through the plumage, the large foot muffs and the rose and shell crests. Yellow is a recognised show colour of the breed and features in its standard gallery. A purely ornamental exhibition pigeon, named like all Trumpeters for its prolonged trumpeting coo.
